वैद्यकीय क्षेत्र ( Medicine )


१) Balamurali Ambati (बालमुरली अंबाती)--  Ambati graduated from New York University at the age of 13 and Mount Sinai School of Medicine at age 17, becoming the world's youngest doctor in 1995. Currently, Dr. Ambati is Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences & Director of Corneal Research at the University of Utah School of Medicine.



२) Paul Antony MD, MPH ( पाऊल अंथोनी )--is the Chief Medical Officer for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) is Executive Director of Global Health Progress and the Chief Medical Officer for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) serving as PhRMA’s principal advocate on all health care and medical policy issues .




३) Atul Gawande ( अतुल गावंडे )-- is an American physician and journalist . Gawande lives in Newton, Massachusetts with his wife, Kathleen Hobson, and his three children (Walker, Hattie and Hunter) Dr .Gvande (born on November 5, 1965 in Brooklyn, NY) is a general and endocrine surgeon , medical author, National Book Award finalist.



४) Yellapragada Subbarao,( एल्लापरगडा सुबाराव )-- (January 12, 1895-August 9, 1948) was an Indian biochemist who discovered the function of Adenosine Triphosphate as a energy source in the cell, and made important contributions to the treatment of cancer He was born to a Telugu 6000 Niyogi Brahmin family in Bhimavaram of the Old Madras Presidency, now in West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. A Harvard doctor & scientist - discovered folic acid .



५) E. Premkumar Reddy ( ई . प्रेमकुमार रेड्डी )-- He obtained his Ph. D. in molecular biology in 1971 from the Osmania University, Hyderabad, India World Famous Oncologist and Director of Fels institute of cancer research and molecular biology at temple university is a biologist.



६) Amit Patel ( अमित पटेल )-- Cardiovascular Surgeon and Stem Cell Researcher - First person to inject stem cells directly into the heart He has recently developed a stem cell spray for rapid healing of heart surgery and burns. His newest program is to treat heart failure patients with one day out patient cell therapies



७) Vamsi Mootha ( वास्मी मुथा ) -- is an Indian-American physician-scientist and computational biologist. He holds the position of Associate Professor of Systems Biology and Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He is also a Senior Associate Member of the Broad Institute.



८) Chitranjan Singh Ranawat,( चित्तरंजन सिंघ राणावत )--- Eminent orthopaedic and knee surgeon He is based in New York and is of Indian origin. He is a winner of Padma Bhushan, which is one of the highest civilian honours of India.[1] He is considered as one of best orthopaedicians in the world.[ He had operated on former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s knee



९)Sangeeta Bhatia, ( संगीता भाटीया ) --M.D., Ph.D. (b. 1968) is an Indian American biological engineer and professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States . Bhatia currently directs the Laboratory for Multiscale Regenerative Technologies and is affiliated with Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research. Harvard-MIT doctor & scientist - engineer of artificial liver cells



१०) V. Mohan Reddy, ( वी. मोहन रेड्डी ) -- A graduate from Kakatiya Medical College in Warangal, India He is from Nizamabad, South India. World famous Paediatric Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Stanford .



११) Ashutosh Tewari, ( आशुतोष तेवारी ) --He is one of world's leading urological surgeons, and has been involved with over 3500 robotically assisted procedures using the da Vinci Surgical System Professor of Urology at New York Presbyterian Hospital and noted prostate cancer surgeon.



१२)Sanjay Gupta, ( संजय गुप्ता ) -- Neurosurgeon & CNN chief medical correspondent

In January 2009, it was reported that Gupta was offered the position of Surgeon General of the United States in the Obama administration, but he withdrew his name from consideration.[4] In January 2011, he was named "one of the 10 most influential celebrities" by Forbes Magazine .



१३) Deepak Chopra ( दीपक चोप्रा ) -- (born October 22, 1946) is an Indian American public speaker, and writer on Ayurveda, spirituality and mind-body medicine.



१४) Vineeta Rastogi ( विनिता रस्तोगी ) --(August 4, 1968 – December 5, 1995) was an Indian-American AIDS activist, public health worker and Peace Corps Volunteer in Democratic Republic of the Congo.



१५) Rev. Dr. Rama Poonambalam Coomaraswamy, ( डॉक्टर रामा पूनाम्बलाम कुमारस्वामी ) M.D., (1929 - 2006), was a cardiac surgeon, then a psychiatrist and later a Traditionalist Catholic priest and exorcist, besides being a prolific writer on Traditionalist Catholicism and Perennialist topics.
